These changes will be mainly focused on a new and improved immigration policy which was promised by Liberals on the 2015 election campaign. McCallum also discussed the process of family class immigration by speeding up the application, in which should take less than 2 years for spouses to be reunited. These modifications to the system will also affect visitors’ visa policy.
